Phases 2 & 3 of the solar farm start.

The Solar farm is now commissioned and fully working.
New Estate Road project work is progressing on schedule. Topsoil has been stripped and the old runway has been broken up and crushed. The hardcore will be used in the base of the new entrance road, Avenue 'A' and also in the noise attenuation bund.

Work started on all three major projects. Part of this work will include the upgrading of two of our electrical sub stations. It is the intention to progressively replace our old transformers and switchgear with new more efficient ones over the next 10 years. Also Avenue A is to be relayed for most of its length.
The Solar Farm has been installed and should be switched on before the end of June.
The area where Shanks will build their in vessel composting and anaerobic digestion facility has been surrounded by a newt fence so that any crested newts in the area can be relocated while stopping any influx of new ones.
