Green Initiatives at Westcott Venture Park
From Solar Panels to energy from food waste and recycling cardboard.
Looking to the future Westcott Venture Park will be self sufficient in electrical energy produced via green initiatives. The owners of Westcott Venture Park, Rockspring, have invested in a solar farm that provides a significant proportion of the Venture Park's energy requirement. Solar farms however only work during the daylight hours but luckily the Shanks in vessel composting and anaerobic digestion facility plant being built at the north end of the park will, when fully operational, provide more than enough energy for us night and day with the majority of electricity they generate being exported into the grid.
Ecopac in Hanger 2 have offered to recyle cardboard waste for all tenants on the Venture Park.
